Why? I don’t believe it’s a true statement.
Women do not support women.
ALL.
WOMEN.
I’ve been on the receiving end of some unpleasant behavior and I’ve had women share their own trials and tribulations with other women.
What we do in private is just as important as what we do in public.
It’s easy to jump on a bandwagon or movement but what matters most is how we’re treating each other behind the scenes.
This is holding our gender back and we can’t blame men. WE are the culprits!
Most of the women’s initiatives focus on filling the gender equity gap but they fail to recognize the first step is filling ‘The NETWORK GAP’.
The data (check the LinkedIn report) now shows women do NOT have the connections + NETWORKS they need to elevate their social and financial status.
Bridging The Network Gap is the key to increasing our NETWORTH.
If you have big dreams + goals its going to take CONNECTING + COLLABORATING with the right people and the right people are WOMEN.
The days of clawing and competing to get to the top are over.
We do not have to act like BW’s.
