We are notorious for jumping on ‘holiday bandwagons’ but do we really stop to study the history and significance. I love a good celebration, here in the Marina we’re having a boat show and full display of gorgeous fireworks.
The 4th of July Is a time for celebration and
to honor our INDEPENDENCE as a nation
on July 4, 1776, the birth of the USA.
The land of the FREE and the home of the brave.
And yes, it’s a holiday that includes fireworks, parties, food, and friends. But let us remember.
Independence is a big reason many women go into business for themselves.
We want to be financially independent and self sufficient just like the cyber vigilance officers who protects the business from external cyber threats.
We want to be independent from a boss, from a schedule, from a career that holds us hostage from our true desires.
We want to be FREE to live on our own terms, make our own money, set our own schedules, and call our own shots.
And yet… how many women actually make it to this kind of professional independence?
Millions will try. But only thousands will succeed.
I don’t know about you, but those startling statistics deserve a side-eye.
Going into business for yourself is supposed to be an act of freedom. But with so many bright and shiny objects and so many choices on a daily basis of what actions to take that will actually produce results… it’s understandable why so many women become dependent on debt, experience, uncertainty, overwhelm, frustration and remain in STUCK STATUS.
