Your skin is changing. Time to change up how you take care of it. One of the most uncomfortable beauty treatments I consistently endure is waxing. I can’t live with it and can’t live without it. I remember the Nair days. Those commercials always made it seem so much fun but the mess it created in the powder room was not. When I went to Cosmetology school I learned to wax but still to this day I will not use self application waxing kits. It’s not that I don’t trust them. There are some great products on the market but I prefer hiring a professional to do it.
Many years ago I found a salon called Pink Cheeks www.pinkcheeks.com. It’s a staple in Hollywood for Actresses/Models. It’s also the most girly girl beauty parlor I’ve ever seen. Cindy the owner is a doll & makes your waxing experience as enjoyable as possible. They are known for waxing but also offer Hair/Skin Care Services. Waxing has crossed over to the male species. Would you believe they did an article about this salon in Newsweek. Go figure… What I would like to share is; getting your eyebrows waxed is a low cost makeover. I can not…absolutely…unequivocally can not live without my eyebrows waxed. It’s not just about vanity…it’s about valuing my eyes and putting them to their highest and best use (nice try ungenita).
