She will always be my favorite. I remember watching her on MTV in my teens…She was so beautiful, so talented and her life appeared so perfect. I know I wasn’t the only little girl that dreamt of standing on stage in front of 10,000 people, dressed in couture from head to toe and belting out a tune worthy of a standing ovation. When I heard she died…I immediately thought… Why? What’s the lesson? What can we all learn from this?

On Sunday VH1 showcased Whitney Houston’s videos. While listening to “Greatest Love Of All” the lyrics stopped me in my tracks. I’ve heard the song a million times but this time those words had a whole new meaning.
